Reflection - Week 8 - Creating a Podcast

Week eight's reflection features my Podcast - Pollination Poem.

The software used to create the Podcast is Audacity... a recording and editing software.
It can also be used to adjust sound features, effects etc.

Some of the features of the software include:
  • editing - click on the selection tool icon (I) in the top left, to rearrange sections of the song or poem.
  • reduce background noise - select the (I) in the top left, click "noise reduction" and adjust as desired
  • To save the recording, click FILE (top left), then select Save Project As...
It is better to use the WAV format.
  • to add music to background -  FILE - IMPORT - AUDIO - select the music / song (without words, so that there isn't any clashing with the words in the audio)
  • to adjust the way in which you want the music to play - EDIT - CLIP BOUNDARIES - SPLIT  - adjust as desired.
